AMD Stretch Screen Issue

I have an RX580 4gb and I am trying to stretch my screen to 1080x1080 for playing games. However when I create the custom resolution a message pops up saying "The custom resolution settings are not compatible with this display. Reconfigure your settings and try again". Anyone know the solution to this problem? I have a Samsung S27E510C Monitor.

i dont understand what you are trying do, but the res that should be set is 1920x1080

I am trying to change the resolution to 1080x1080. The res is set to 1920x1080 I just want to change it for gaming purposes.

custom resolution settings are not compatible with this display
that says it all....you cannot force a monitor to accept a res it cant do
