m.2 Looking for a m.2 SSD

Was looking between two of these SSD's for the new build I got. Should I get one of these or something else?

Also my Motherboard supports Intel Optain as well, so while its a consideration; I can currently use my Sata SSD's for caching for the time being as the NVMe on will be used for OS 500GB preferred as I'm considering budget as well.

I don't see any reason to get the 970 Pro over the WD Black. If you're using this as a boot drive, NVMe is already more or less overkill for this use case.

I'm a proponent of the Samsung Pro line of SSD's, but I have a big ol' bias. Honestly, it really doesn't matter between these two. Just get what fits your budget. Both are great drives.

May be running some of my heavier games on it as well; but ya if the WD black one will do me good I will be buying it more then likely as it does have a good price atm. TY M.Yurizaki and TempestCatto
