RTX 2080...

I just bought an RTX 2080 is it going to explode? What is all this shit I’m hearing about I’m really concerned right now I don’t want to explode and die. OK for real though like what is all this crap I’m hearing about is it a good card?

What brand of RTX 2080 do you have? 

I mean brand as in EVGA, MSI or Gigabyte.

no, that was on the first line of 2080 ti's. those have been fixed and they never affected the 2080 line. you have nothing to worry about

I had one Galax 2080ti it had artifacts after 3 Days

I had one Palit 2080ti becauseof better availabilty in Europe it crashes every game  after 8 Days.

 

I have my second palit now.. I directly put it under water to avoid any possible Temp issues.

It still crashes 

 

BF V after 10 to 20min and Doom 4 in open gl but seems to work with Vulkan. (both can be driver and Game relatet crashs)

Fallout 4 seems to work.

Today iam gonna test FFIV and Metro redux. 

Iam on day 2.. So..  yes.. what happend to me must not happen to you. :D

The 2080Ti cards had most of the problems. You'll be fine.
