Hi all,

So over the past couple of months to a year (or more), sometimes my PC smells like funky, sort of like a printer. It's really only when I play games and it's not very often that it smells. It'll linger for a few minutes and then leave. All my temps are fine and I checked my power supply under a load and it doesn't smell funky at all.

I narrowed it down to my graphics card. I currently have a GTX 1080 Gigabyte WindForce. The fans are pushing out cold air, and I held my hand up to the side of the card where the heat pips are and I sort of smell warm air and the side of the card is warm and the top is warm also, so I'm wondering if that could be it? My Master Case has a plexiglass side panel and it tends to get warm right around the graphics card heat pipes area.

Any advice on what else I should do? I checked my temps and they seem stable. These are temps while running a game:

Thanks guys!!!

Cheers,

Steve

Is that something I should be concerned about? Because I can feel the hot air coming out of the side of the card, mainly towards the back of the card, not so much the front.

Also I've been running a game for roughly an hour and the temperature is sitting at 74 C
