Hello everyone,

My friend is building is first gaming PC right now, and he told me that the PC isn't booting. I told him to check the front panel connectors and change the slot of his RAM (idk if that even would fix anything), but still no luck.

Any ideas?

Specs:

Ryzen 7 1700x

Asrock B350 Pro4

8 gb RAM (1x8)

Corsair CX550M

MSI GTX 970

and a molex RGB LED strip

Thank you.

EDIT: Well this turned out well... Apparently he just put all the front panel connectors to the wrong connectors

Make sure the psu power switch is on, ensure cpu power connector is in firmly, along with the 24pin and same goes for gpu. Also make sure, being a semi modular power supply, that the correct cables are plugged into the correct areas on the psu (they're all labeled). You could try booting without the gpu as well.

I dont think changing RAM slots would help. Another thing to try is reseating the CPU.
