I currently have this pc:

GPU: GTX 960 4gb

CPU: i5 6400

RAM:16 RAM

HDD: 1TB

SSD: 240GB

PSU: 650W

MO: GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2H

I want to change my GPU and i wanted to get the rx580 at about 220 euros, but on https://thebottlenecker.com/calculator it says that this card would bottlneck my system and I should go with the rx570 wich is just 15 euros cheaper.

Should I go for the rx580 anyway or it would be better to go with the 570, the 15 euros don't really affect me.

That bottleneck calculator site thingy is garbage and I see it linked more and more on the forum these days and its bugging me...you can't guesstimate a bottleneck like that...it greatly depend on the games you play, at what resolution, at what graphical settings...what is your target framerate etc...

It's bullshit..get the best card you can afford and don't look back.

Delete this page forever, and forget it exists. This is the biggest waste of bytes in the entire Internet.

It is entirely pure garbage and within all possible facts completely WRONG and impossible.

Noone can predict you where your bottleneck is, and when, when your software + settings is unknown.

Your bottlenekcs depends 100% on your software ü settings, and has NOTHING to do with your Hardware.
