B450 -F Gaming. To buy, or not to buy

DVA

Welp I have an opportunity to purchase an ASUS ROG Strix B450 board for $80 USD NEW. It's coming from a guy that was recently given a x470 board as a gift and he never got to use the B450. It's in all original packaging, completely sealed. He just wants to dump it because he has a build he is doing and wants the money for it.

Now my question is, despite the cooling capability it has for OC'ing, is it fine other than that? I will likely be purchasing a 2600 for it and doing a moderate OC. The case will have good air flow and if need be than I'll probably purchase a D15 to keep things cool.

$80 for it seems like a good deal to me, thoughts everyone?

Amazing deal, any b450 you can find under $100 is great, plus that great IO and sexy rgb.

I have this board in an older rig with an 2400g. Given you have the case and a good aio, this board is great for overclocking.

Good deal for the price. Not putting Ryzen 7 in that, but Ryzen 5 should be fine
