So, the guy who lived in my house before me had some insane server setup with a handmade room and about 4 air conditioning units in the attic. While looking around the stuff he had left, I found this. I'll be honest, I know very little about networking stuff, so I'm not sure if it's worth keeping this for any reason. Can you let me know if you think I should keep it and what actually it is?

(I'm also messing around with some of the spoiler tags and stuff, so I apologise if they don't work or the post looks funny)

Ah, okay. Looks like I'll keep it. Maybe I'll learn about it and try to set something up using it.

Im on the same boat as you becoz I dont know thay much about that stuff either. But id keep it and learn all the shizz and make my own beast home server. Jist a suggestion though.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood....

For that is all I need, For the Emperor of Man, Jen-Hsun Huang, protects. We march for Nvidia, and we shall know no fear!

No.

Maybe £20 - £30 maximum. Its just a patch pannel and some really cheap, out of date switches.

Yep, pretty much this... That would probably be the reason he left it there as well... A guy that has a dedicated server room probably uses full gigabit instead of these 10/100 Mbps switches.
