The corsair ram is a tinnnnnnnny bit faster but its so marginal, and plus the tridentZ rgb ram has more compatibility with motherboard software.

No matter which set of ram you choose to put in your system, the best thing that you can do is the make sure the new ram is on the motherboards Quality Vendors List (QVL).  Sometimes that can be overlooked but it is the only way that you can guarantee the ram will work without any problems.  The QVL can be found either in the motherboard manual or on the website for the motherboard.  The website will obviously have the most current information so I would go look there.  It's the best thing you can do when purchasing new computer memory for your system.
