@IntheknowIf u have onboard just take out the GPU and plug monitor into the monitor connector on your motherboard.

 

Not all PC's have onboard.

Just plug your screen into the motherboard and take out the GPU and you should be good to go. 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Unless you like...poured water on the GPU and saw the smoke leave the magic box...Id leave the GPU in and turn on the iGPU so you can troubleshoot your dGPU (dedicated GPU vs. Integrated GPU)

Sorted now had to dig out a dvi cable hdmi a shit at detecting signals

Hope it wasn't a nice GPU!  It sounds like it may have been given the known specs we have.  Did anyone receive an ass whoopin at least?
