I just started playing CS:GO

I remember when half life came out, then slowly the counterstrike then team fortress,,,   I tell you why I like CS:GO soo much even tho its a 2012 game.  The weapons are sick, the reloading of them, the firing of them you feel it.  There is recoil unlike the sh*TTY battlefield games and cod.  I like the graphics ,, I mean its not Unreal Tournament, but it doesn't have to be.  Anyhow the weapons and feel of game is amazing.  Also the multiplayer is very very optimized.  So far no issues.  25 million copies sold and 11 million people play online.  Also pro lan tourneys with real money play CS:GO and what not.  Only weird thing is you can't choose your skin.. its ok..  I actually won a match with a ton of players in it lol hehe.

Lol no kidding.  But can't they join again ?  Or change their IP address or use VPN or something.

When you get VAC banned, your whole account is banned from Steam, you can't even launch either the game or the service.

Steam can also IP ban you, never seen that happen before tho

So how can the guy play the game again and go online if there is not a IP ban.  He has to buy a new copy and behave ?

Yeah, cheaters/toxic players when IP or VAC banned have to buy a new copy of the game, though CSGO is now free-to-play

False you just can't play the game you are VAC banned from. My friend has 3 VAC bans

I play a gamemode called "scoutzknivez" where you have to strafe through the air and you only use a ssg08 and knife. If you want to connect to the server the IP is ny.frag.works, you might run into me. Playing this gamemode is less toxic compared to matchmaking, its a lot of fun.

Community servers often attract the most attention, especially in HvH (hacker vs hacker) servers

I do it when people go at me first. I try, and I feel like I'm friendly to people I meet, but I can be rude when people get toxic towards me. Thats why I try not to play matchmaking.

Ofc they do. Cheats like skeet.cc and FlowHooks can be undetected by VAC. Valve has been trying to beef up the cheating system recently and it's been doing better, but a slow and long overdue process. They banned 60,000 accounts a few months ago.

Wow no sh*t that is crazy man... thx for the info.  Wow 60k accounts deleted wow...…..Still very sad that they cant fix hacking.... They fixed it in UT99 I remember and Quake 3 too I believe.  Those days the games were secure.

stuff is advancing for cheats, sadly. The new VAC Net system is AI and has been handling reports and cheaters better. Valve better step up their shit or I'm moving and paying for 3rd party competitive play.

I hear you man.  Here is another question.  Does this game get patches still or updates ?  Even tho its about 7 years old and what not.
