Yup. A battle royal just got added last thursday and the game became free to play, but people who bought the game are matched against people who also bought the game in solo que competitive matches. They better beef up VAC since they made the game F2P.

Wow no kidding.  So its true uh,, millions and people still play it and the creators got soo much money off it ,, that they give back to community and patch even after all these years... I have a question,, its free but for a time period right ?  Like 2 weeks or something, Then you have to buy it , hmmmmmm sighs

Nope. F2P until they change it. People who bought the game have prime matchmaking, which is supposed to match you with people who are less likely to cheat and smurf from higher ranks. People who cheat and smurf who owned the game now have prime so they'll have to be weeded out, and cheaters/smurfs can still get the game for $15. Big slap in the face to loyal players.
