860 Evo or MX500?

I would like to upgrade my ssd and I picked out Samsung 860 evo and crucial mx500 both in 250GB variant. I need some advice because I don't know which is better. 860 evo costs 58€ and mx500 costs 54€

it doesn't matter. both are about as good as you can get on sata, and I have both of them and I like them both as much

For only 4 € difference, I'd get the 860 EVO hands down.

I feel more biased towards Samsung but I use both of em and it made 0 difference so far

Both are excellent SATA SSDs. I would just get whichever is cheaper or has a better warranty.

If MX500 is cheaper go for it, and buy yourself a burger with money saved.

AFAIK warranty period is same for both.

but TBW on samsung is much longer than other, atleast on 500gb versions

well, as said they are about the same, made by micron and samsung, almost as cheap. we have personal prefferences here. I think you can choose safely between both here

Thanks to everybody who replied. I think I will go for the mx500 250GB and use my current ssd for some games.
