Hard drive backup/ copy software

Hi I am looking for some software to create a complete copy of my hard drive including the OS (or over option), then install to another hard drive.If anyone knows of any free software that works on windows 10 that would be great. This is so I have a complete backup just in case of the worst. I usually backup files online but it would be nice to have a full copy of my system on another hard drive so that if the worst happens I can get back to work as soon as possible. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The windows 7 backup and restore in windows will do this and works well for this. Did you give this a try?

No I didn't know it was a thing does it also work on windows 10?

yep works fine on windows 10, its just called windows 7 backup and restore
