Thinking about upgrading my computer since it is starting to get outdated.

Would really like some advice from you guys.

Current Build:

CPU

AMD - FX-8350 4 GHz 8-Core Processor

CPU-cooler

Corsair - H100i 77 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

MB

Asus - Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard

RAM

Kingston - HyperX 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

GPU

Asus - Radeon HD 7970 3 GB GDDR5 RAM

PSU

Corsair - Enthusiast 750 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

SSD

Crucial - MX300 525 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Case

Fractal Design - Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case

Planned upgrades:

CPU

Intel Core i7-9700K

MB

- ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING, S-1151

RAM

- G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200MHz 16GB

GPU

- MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Duke OC

or

- MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Duke OC

Do I need a new cooler and Psu as well?

Also not sure about the GPU, should i go for something cheaper like a RTX 2070 or GTX 1070Ti?

I would surely like to have a GTX 1080TI, but it has become quite expensive in my country lately. Maybe I could try to get a used one?

Primarily going to use this rig for gaming and streaming.

I am using a 1080p monitor at the moment, but planning to buy a 1440p monitor.

as long as you have the intel mountaing hardware the cooler will be fine and the PSU should still be good too. Looks good to me.

GPU is more of a preference thing to yourself, look at benchmarks and where you think your money is best spent.

cooler: no

psu: absolutly, that one is way too old.

Gpu: the 1070 ti can keep up with 1440p, so you'll be fine for a couple years there

what is the total budget for your upgrade? then I can play around a bit with it

Thanks!

I have not set a clear budget for my build as my main focus is to make a build that would last for at least a couple of years before I have to upgrade again.

But around 2 000-2500 USD would be my preferred range.

I can do for less

Edit: you need to order an am4 bracket for your cooler, but that's about it

I was actually thinking about going for the Ryzen 7 2700X.

This looks really nice! Think i might just go for that build.
