It'll probably work fine, but is likely a sub par PSU overall

Why ask only after buying something?

I wouldn't even bother overclocking going by your VRM with no cooling and how much power those old chips will use, if anything try to undervolt your system a bit at it's stock speed

Because it's an older board and if it's going to be your only PC for a long while you likely want as little stress on it as possible.

and was that 60 EUR? because that sounds very overpriced, unless that's the normal price where you're at.

Not for an ancient platform like that one, you'd be on the lucky side to even find a working board, is this your main PC? Because I would have suggested finding an old dell/HP/Lenovo machine with an i5 2000 or i7 2000 if it is.

I also have no idea what normal pricing looks like for your area, only thing I could look at is the german part picker pricing.

This is more what I'm referring to

LIke we can just go to Ebay or Newegg, or Amazon, and spend like <$150 USD to get an old business machine with an i5 or i7 for super budget systems.

That PSU is absolute garbage. A >10 year old 460W PSU with max 312W output on 12V.

I'm afraid you overpaid by about €80 for it.

:)

That makes more sense, but ya don't try overclocking with that PSU or motherboard.

Probably just wait until you can pick up a used business machine with an i7 for the future. Or a Ryzen 3 2200G system somehow.
