GPU touching sata 5 and 6 connectors on b450 tomahawk

Go to solution Solved by Lurick,

No, there won't be any issues.

Hi im using the gigabyte 1070ti gaming triple fan gpu, and now thats its on the mobo i noticed that it practically touches the sata 5 & 6 connection points, the gpu rises if i put a credit card between the two - will this cause issues? like thermals (im assuming heat will spread from gpu to mobo).

Also it doesnt seem like there's really a way around this as for the gpu connection pins to fully insert into the pcie slot, the gpu itself becomes lowered above the sata 5 & 6 ports to the point that it is now. I would try to reinsert it, but the gpu seems stuck at the moment.

should i try to undo the pcie tab if i want to remove the gpu or just pull it out?

Yah, you'll need to push the pcie tab down to pull the GPU out

you should be fine, my card is also touching the sata ports and a radiator up front.
