Help! My GPU might be dying!

Go to solution Solved by Snipergod87,

try drivers but looks like a RAM issue, either unstable or part of it is dead on the GPU.

Hello Internet people

Just last week I started having a problem with the computer. Whenever the computer used the GPU (940mx) black flickers and screen static would appear. The problem slowly appeared, only flickering sometimes but it has gotten so bad in the last few days.

I have tried to
-Reinstall Windows 10
-Reinstall Drivers
-Play without Drivers
-Use older Drivers

I don't know what caused this but I think it is a hardware issue. I use this laptop every day to play and temps on the laptop can be 70^C for around 3 to 7 hours every day.

I have an ASPIRE F5-573G. i5-6200U, 8GB Ram, 940Mx 2Gb

yep, that's some artifacting.

try to warranty the machine with your OEM - otherwise there is nothing else that can be done, GPU is dying.

idk
