After looking on internet about amd 965 BE cpu i found out that my stock voltage was way too high,it was 1.475v for the stock 3.4 ghz but in few places i saw that even 1.35/1.4v would work perfectly too so i was wondering if that's true.. Someone had that cpu? and at what voltage it was? (the motherboard is an asrock 970 extreme3 with the latest bios)

Thanks

When I ran a Phenom II back in 2012 my 955 ran around 1.35v iirc.

If it wasn't stable at a slight overvolt, which 1.4v is, you'd have a problem anyway :D
