When I right click on Acer:C (My SSD) and click on properties, the used space is 80GB. When I go into the SSD and highlight all folders the used space is 20GB. Where did that 60GB go?

Enable "show files, folders and drives" in folder options in windows.

Just search hidden files in windows search and you should find it in the suggestions.

It might also have reserved space for system restore files too... so go into control panel>system and security>system, and choose <system protection tab> and select the drive, and click <configure> to adjust the amount of space reserved.

What if  some of it is reserved in the recycle bin?

It should be checked out too.

Well it's not "reserved" in the recycle bin, as the name suggests it's marked for over-writing or you can permanently delete. Not the same as reserving hard disk space for restoring etc.

Yeah you are absolutely right but if the recycle bin has a lot of files and is allowed to store that, then this kind of problems may occur.

True, but assumed the OP had already deleted/emptied that before starting this topic really. The reserved space can be very tricky, on my latest windows install IIRC my reserved space for restore space was something stupid like 24GB (10% of total SSD/HDD space), which is ridiculous for a default.
