Why not a Ryzen 2600 and B450 motherboard?

Why a 8350K with a Z390 board instead of a Z370 board?

What's your total budget?

about 660 usd

and my reason for using a 390 and not 370 was that i couldnot find it around me

660USD is about 6000 Krona.

What do you have now? You said you'll be reusing some stuff, what will you be reusing? If you can give exact part numbers that's better

Do you have DDR4 RAM already?

More expensive (790$ instead of 660$, about a 130$ increase) but this should perform much better in games and allows you to overclock quite a bit

I'd recommend a TX550M or Vengeance 550M for the PSU.

(If you buy from amazon.de, a 550M would cost 75€ with standard shipping and 80€ with express shipping)

That should be compatible.

This is as close I could get without having to cost-down parts such as the motherboard (pretty bad idea):

There are some 580 4GB cards for much less than that 570 so I would swap it for that and drop the SSD down to a 250GB

I would avoid the website however, according to reviews it has god awful customer service.

Better to order from Dustin Home

what psu and ram should i use

Any DDR4 RAM works, although with ryzen it's recommended to use high-frequency (3000MHz and higher) or dual-channel memory (both is best), however you can get off fine with something like a single stick of 2400mhz DDR4 (although there will be lower framerates).

For a good budget PSU, i'd get a Corsair Vengeance. A 650M will allow for plenty of upgrades but a 550M will also work (there will just be less room for upgrades, i.e. if you want to put two GPUs it's better to get a 650W PSU than a 550W one).

A CXM will also do fine, but a Vengeance is better and has a better rating on JonnyGuru. (CXM is 8.7/10 while Vengeance ranges from 9.2/10 to 9.9/10)

be quiet Pure Power 10 or 11, 400W is enough so far, but::

That's a pretty awful setp because:

a) you waste money on a Motherboard

b) only get an i3 -> almost 200€ for that due to shortage. FOr the same money you can get a Ryzen 5/2600...

But I'd rather get the 1600 with a decent Board and an RX570 or so.

Here in Germany I've seen them for under 150€ on sale. So also a better deal.

I'd rather not save too much on the SSD and stick with the 500GiB.

You don't save much anyway.

We're talking about like 20€ or so.

Samsung 860 EVO is like 50€/250GB and 75€/500GB.

Sorry, but that's saved on the wrong end.

I'd rather save Money on the Board and think about the 'normal' ASUS B450 ones like the TUF B450 one...

450W is more than enough for that.

Since we're trying to save money, it doesn't make sense to go "overwatt" or in general recommend a PSU that's loaded at 50% at most...

A 550M should be good then. (The Vengeance series starts at 550W as far as i know)

The Vengeance starts at 400W. It's just a CXM with multi rail and a different fan. Still not a high end PSU.
