Msi afterburner and R9 280 overclocking

So, I was overclocking my R9 280, and managed to max out the sliders, so I can’t OC any higher. Is there any way around this?

Yes you have to modify the file itself let me see if I can find it...where you basically agree that you know its not supposed to go any higher but you want to fry your card anyways.

you can see in riva where you're limited, where are you limited?

In AB settings menu you can choose to ignore AMD limits.

From what I can tell, I am only limited by the official overclocking allowance provided by the card. I had heard the 7000 series was good for overclocking but I didn’t expect this...

well, you can see it down in the graphs. take a look at any time if you can't go further

My GPU doesn’t support power limit. That, or for some reason it defaulted to not show it

I remember with my 7000 series cards I had to select a setting in MSI Afterburner to unlock the power limits etc
