Lian Li 24 pin Strimmer

I haven't ever done any cable modifications, but I remember watching a GN video that mentioned not to mix PSU cables from other brands.

Does this count for extensions?  Can I use the Lian-Li 24 pin strimmer with my CX650m from Corsair?

Extensions are universal as they are a 1:1 connection and only extend the original PSU cables, instead of complete replacements which must be compatible for each model of PSU.
