Ok, so i just upgraded to a Ryzen 5 2600 from a G4560

A made a clean Windows 10 install after the upgrade

My RAM is 2X4 3200Mhz CL15

When i played Assassin's Creed Origins, my GPU was 98-97% and i was getting LOWER FPS COMPARED TO MY DUAL CORE (2CORE) G4560 (THE GPU WAS ALWAYS AT 99%). WTF IS THIS

I get 1287 on Cinebench and this is the score that i should actually get. What is happening?!!

Edit: My GPU is a GTX 1050 OC'ed

yes, theres a bottleneck

a 2600 is better paired with a 1060 or 1070

if you don't have much money, i'll recommend waiting for navi (there's supposed to be a 1060-like model for 129$ and a 1070-like model for 199$), otherwise get a rx 570

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

But why it bottlenecks a F***KING GTX 1050!?

Because it's a GTX 1050.. A 1060 is about double the performance of a 1050.

Get a RX 570 if you don't have much money and can't wait for Navi

But i drops more frequenly to 29-27 FPS which is kinda annoying and really insane that a Dual Core CPU could push more FPS.

What settings are you running the game at?

High. With the G4560 i was getting almost always stable 30 FPS+. Got a controller, moved 1m from my monitor and i (at least) enjoyed my console-like experience.

Now with the Ryzen 5 2600 that supposed to be an "upgrade" it's even worse.

It's a crapshoot but see if setting the game's processor affinity to CPU0-CPU5 or CPU6-CPU11 fixes anything.
