Looking for Photo/Slide/Negative scanner

Jdogbf

Look at doing a bit of photo scanning on the side for people, what is the best scanner that can do all 3 for under $1000? I am currently looking at the Epson Perfection V850 Pro. Any other suggestions?

That is a very specific combination of features, so i think the one you found, properly is the best option.
Epson also has a great rep. in the professional market, so i do not see you finding much better

CPU: 2x E5620 - GPU: 2x GTX660 - RAM: 64gb DDR3 ECC - Mobo: Z800 OEM - Storage:1TB WD Green - 256gb - Micron C400 250gb - 850 EVO - 512gb 850 PRO
Monitors: 3x HP ZR2440W - Keyboard: G710 MX Blue - Mouse: MX Master

Keep up the good tone and stay classyxD

V850 is a fine choice especially since you're probably going to have to scan 120 film as well so a dedicated 35mm scanner like a Noritsu or a Pakon is out of the question anyways even if you had the dough to blow on a one of those scanners.

Work Desktop: Dell Precision 5810 | Intel Xeon E5-1607 v4 | 8GB 2400 MHz ECC DDR4 | AMD FirePro w5100 4GB GDDR5

Laptop: MacBook Pro 15" | Intel i7-4870HQ | 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3 | Nividia GeForce GT 750M 2GB GDDR5
