i have a decent system with a 1080ti and 8700k, and i have been gaming in 4k on my 2715q dell IPS panel for a while, and i really like the high resolution..

but can se that ultra is not always 60fps territory anymore, have to run BFV in high... so instead of running out buying a new GPU i am actually thinking of downscaling my resolution a bit, and then going for a high refresh rate panel, i really like the 120hz on my Dell laptop, just hate that it is TN...

there seems to be problems however (now i live in Denmark, so don´t have access to wierd korean panels)

I have some "demands"

1. FLAT screen with a 16:9 16:10 format (curved ruins working in 3d drawing enviroments)

2. 1440p 27" is the least amount of pixeldensity i can accept.

3. 120+ hz don´t care if it is 120-144-165-240, 120 is enough

4. simple design with a good stand, no fancy colors. no glossy plastics, and a stand that is height adjustable.

i really love the stand on my dell..

The hardest ting for me to find is the

NON curved screen

and NON gamer design screen, it is hard to find something that is okay to look at.. Dell has one, but it is TN.

any great ideas?

Take your pick. You know the difference between ultra and high is basically nothing right? If you just turn down anti-aliasing you'll probably get the 60 fps you're looking for. increased resolution in gaming is for that exact reason - being able to reduce anti-aliasing.

edit: Yes, I realize you're in Denmark, but just use it as a list to look up model numbers. I don't know any sites in Denmark to look up prices for you.

I own the BenQ XL2730z, it fits to all your demands. Altough it's TN, it's a really good TN. I believe even Linus reviewed it.

I think it's great for gaming, I like the humble design and it's decent for media consumption.

But yeah, @Cereal5 pretty much gave you the batch. My input was in case you'd consider the BenQ sicne it's not in the above mentioned list

RGB & Fan control ULTIMATE GUIDE !

yeah must admit if we had the PIXIO brand i would have gone for that slim IPS panel in that batch, it seems like a really good deal.

i think i am ending up with the Acer XF270HU which seems to be the simplest design wise of what i actually can get in Denmark i really don´t like the acer brand, but it must suffice
