Hey Community:

I just got this motherboard. Do you think I'd be able to export video from the USB-C port? Otherwise, is there any place that sells HDMI male to MiniDisplay Port female adapters? I haven't found any.

Only Thunderbolt equiped USB-C can output DisplayPort as far as I know, and seeing as that's an AMD board, that is just regular USB-C, so no to your first question.
For your second question, you mean something like this?:

Yeah, that link'll work. Does Apple put hardware blocks on the displays to prevent them from working with Windows?

What display do you want to use? Apple has never made a display with usb c, they only made a thunderbolt one(please don't get that one, they don't even sell it any more, and it won't work here anyways)

I highly doubt it, because it'd defeat the purpose of using a Mac that has Windows on it with that display.

I would just wager that all you need is something that can deliver video the way it's required for the display.

It says here (https://support.apple.com/kb/SP597?locale=en_US) that it's only MiniDisplay, not Thunderbolt, but I don't know. I have the new black frame one, not the silver one.

So on this specs page it says that it's only MiniDisplay, not Thunderbolt. I would never buy something like this, it was a gift from a relative.

That's not entirely true. The USB protocol *can* support display out, but graphic fidelity and framerate is not good. You'll basically be able to render the desktop and that's about it.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.
