What does everyone think about the Phantom series cases from NZXT?

Bogstench

Thanks for that thorough thought. The only issue I see with it then is the potential positive pressure issue, as well as the push-pull rad set up not being able to be executed, which is kind of a let down.

Yeah, Corsair cases overall seem to be very good. I've heard poor things about that Air case just because of not dust filters (lol) as well as a few other minor things, but yeah. Other than that Corsair's great.

The reviews I've seen show a magnetic dust filter on the intakes. I would recheck that. The 410 has non-removable filters on the intakes. Well, the PSU filter is removable.

Does my reply bother you so much ???

meant it as a joke I understand some people like clean lines that companies like fractal design offer, but me personally love geometric angles.

Interesting then. I really do like that case a lot. So I might get it actually. To be honest it just seemed like it was throwing nearly $50.00 down a drain getting that case because of no dust protection but I guess it does have them.

Another solid choice may be the Vengeance C70. I wish I would've got that instead.

I think that they took a good base chassis, and made it look like a poorly modified vauxhall corsapost-38950-0-57175600-1389369683.jpg

Just thought I would start a topic about it because I'm quite interested in what you all think about them all.

I use one, I thoroughly enjoy it so far, and "looking gamerish" that's just really depending on how you do it - in my opinion.

Too many angles.........

I never could put a finger on why I didn't like them, but I think this might be why. It's lousy with angles! It gives is a busy look to me. But I think that's why a lot of people love it... it's exciting and has a lot of movement because of the busy look. Not my cup of tea I guess... but then, I don't even like tea.

So you like yours? What do you think about the lower-end ones? I always thought they were pretty good but I suppose the plastic conveys poor quality, which is understandable.

I doubt that the quality is any different, the plastic doesn't mean bad quality some of the plastic actually makes the case better in ways.

They're great cases In my opinion, build quality is fine, nothing has snapped off and I've moved it a bit and taken the top and front panels off a bit. I thought the same when I first saw them that they look like a kid designed them. But once I got it home and built my pc it looked really sleek and just has a good design to it. Especially when there's plenty of LEDs inside lol. However if I could go back I would probably get a case with more room to get your hands in. Installing a aftermarket heatsink with the motherboard installed is a bitch if you have bigger hands

Looks kind of nice. There is still a little bit too much styling and gimmickiness going on.

It's to gaudy for some not gaudy enough for others.

I'm disappointed in your taste sir.

Actually I like them too, but I wouldn't 'like' it for an extended period of time. xD
