GTX 980 vs RX 570

Hi!

 

Second hand GPUs are flooding my local area right now. I can buy a GTX 980 for $130 (used) however at the same price, I can buy a brand new RX 570. My question is I want to know what card will perform better (max overclocked). Thanks

980 will do better even stock speeds.

The 980 is a tier up on the 570, mich better in games, just under a 1070. $130 is a great price.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

That's 970 territory. $130 for a 980 is one of the best deals I've seen on a used card.
