Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 MOBO no display

So

I was looking at my new Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X470-AORUS-GAMING-7-WIFI-rev-10#kf).

 

I just relived I don't have hdmi or dvi in my MOBO.  My question is if something goes wrong with my graphics card. And my CPU is Ryzen 5 2600x.  I see a USB C o. The back and I saw online a USB c to HDMI output. 

If my motherboard had an hdmi or dvi would it still display without GPU card?

 Or Do I have to get another?

My PC:

My Kids PC:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 (95watt @3.5Ghz @1.40V), MOBO: ASUS M2A-VM, RAM: Kingston 8GB (4x2GB) DDR2 800MHz, GPU: nVidia GT 710 2GB DDR3 (OC’ed Clock to 1300Mhz and Memory to 950Mhz), STORAGE: 250GB HDD, 500GB HDD, COOLER:  Cooler Master 212 EVO, PC CASE: Cooler Master Q300L , FANS: 3 x upHere RED LED Fans (2 Front, 1 Back), PSU: Generic 300 Watt PSU.

You can't get graphics display from your motherboard, the CPU has no Integrated graphics

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

No APU no onboard video.
