Deciding on 1440p monitor

Hey guys I'm currently trying to toss up between two different monitors for 1440p 32-inch monitors on a budget. In my market (New Zealand) the two best offers I'm finding is the View Sonic VX3276-2K-MHD or the Acer EB321HQU which is $40 cheaper. And while on paper both these monitors look decent and relatively similar, I'm just wondering if there are any differences in panel quality or if there is anything else I should be aware of and if the View Sonic is worth the price jump. Primary use will be thesis research (Speadsheets, word docs, GIS) with some gaming.
