Posted December 1, 2018 With reference to the image attached: I'm looking at potentially upgrading my PC, since I first started this build around 5 years ago I've used an AMD CPU starting with the FX-6350 and quickly upgraded to the FX-8350 also using a corsair H75 water cooler and haven't changed the CPU since but now I'm looking to switch to Intel where I'm looking at getting the I5-9600k. Furthermore, I'm currently using 4x8GB 1600MHz DDR3 Corsair vengeance but I'm now looking at getting Corsair Vegeance 2x16GB 3000MHz DDR4, so obviously with the change of CPU socket types and DDR3 to DDR4 I'll need a new motherboard which I am consider the Asus Z370-h and also I'm looking at switching from a Cooler master Case to Corsair 760T case. I'll be keeping and switching over the PSU and GPU to save on costs, also i believe the GTX 1060 6GB DUAL OC will last me a fair amount of time although I will be hoping to upgrade in the future. In summary, I'm looking for advice; do you think this will be a worthwhile upgrade? or is there any other components you think I should consider? Thanks in advance
Posted December 1, 2018 Author Just to make things more clear; I'm living in the UK and the total costs of the components I've stated cost £850, This build is primarily for gaming, I have one monitor (Ben Q XL2411) and have no room for anymore) , running Windows 10 and have all the peripherals I need for now and I'm looking to upgrade because I feel i may have some bottle necking occurring
 Posted December 1, 2018 Yes and no. The cpu upgrade is a great idea, but I disagree with what you choose for it. I would get ryzen atm as intel has a shortage. And a 9600k is just a soldered 8600k
