Hi guys,

Just bought a new prebuilt from ibuypower with the link and specs are below. I was wondering whether it is worth the hassle of cable management work and money upgrading the PSU. I believe the current watts are ok for the build but I am hesitant about the brand/manufacturing of the PSU. What do you guys think? Am I going to be ok?

Since it is prebuilt if something goes wrong you should be able to contact IBuyPower and try to get a replacement. It is 80 Plus Gold so I think its fine. If you start getting issues with it then replace or contact the seller.

Its an OEM power supply, usually they don't wanna risk anything important in that build, especially for something that powers the whole system.

IF something happened, you could blame IBuyPower, wait till warranty period over before buying new ones.

GPS-650??

If so, its not good but not bad either.

Its a somewhat decent unit that may (or may not) have an annoying fan. Besides that it might have some quirks here and there but all in alle its fine.

And what you'd expect in a real decent OEM PC: a decent quality PSU that is optimized for low price but still decent quality. No worrys.

CWT is the manufacturer of that, as said, they do manufacture most of the Stuff Corsair sells right now (the other stuff comes from GREAT WALL wich got some flak from some youtubers, whou aren't well informed about PSU) but also Bitfenix Formula + Whisper M and a ton of other stuff. However you have to be careful as CWT will make what YOU order....
