Couple questions about Google One

I heard a few things about copyright related material being uploaded to google one.  If I don't share the data with anyone else other than myself, is there a chance I might have issues?  I was also wondering is there a way to one way sync from the pc I'm uploading from?  So I download a file, then have it upload to the cloud while removing it from the local pc?  I can't find many actual ways to do this with Google One.
