Micro SD card

Hello all!

Not really sure if I should post this here or in the storage section.

I was looking for a new micro SD card for my phone ( a huwawei p8 lite) and was reading some things about SD cards. I came across an article that said that there are 2 kinds of SD cards, SDHC and SDXC and that not all phones support both. But I did not find much on witch support what. Can you guys give me some insight in this?

SDHC is slower than SDXC.

Just buy a 64GB SDXC micro sd card for about 20 euros / $ on amazon and it will work in your phone.

Pretty much. I doubt your phone would not. They are standards that have been around for a while, but it doesn't hurt to check.the information page for your phone should list the information

Nearly all newer phones support both. Usually they support up to 64GB.

In fact, most phones have no problem with 128 and even 256GB    512 and above are both expensive and sketchy in terms of compatibility, though.
