Hi,

this is so annoying. I live in Poland, and every time I google something polish sites rise to the top of the page.  I mean when I google for ex. "Intel Core i7" at the top of the site I get some polish shops and news sites  and I'm sure, that Google gives me those just because I am located in Poland  .And I hate it.

Is there a way to set english to have higher priority than other languages?

And no, when I click search options a can choose between "Polish only" and "all languages".

Try going to Google.com instead of Google.pl.

Nope, Google.com redirects you to your local Google page. You would habe to use Google.com/ncr but that wouldnt solve The Problem. I think there is no was beside using an proxy/vpn.

Going to google.com will always redirect you to your local Google page, you can instead set your home page to google.co.uk or another English Google page and then that will then give you English results with an emphasis on pages from that country, but from using google.co.uk myself you will get all English results not just from the UK.

Worst case is that you get the Hola Better Internet extension which is just a proxy that lets you select countries, if you go to google you can set it so every time you google you will have a USA or UK ip

One way to get past it is to login to Google account and set your language to english and maybe location to UK/US etc. You can also deny Google access to your location but google.com takes information straight from system settings. So to get totally past redirection you'd need to set PC location to somewhere else.
