Hey, I am replacing my z87 lga 1150 board to a x470 AM4, but im planning to keep my old ssd's and hard drives. Will the PC be useful after the migration or do I need to reinstall windows or re-activate it because of the change in CPU,Mobo and Architecture?

First time doing this btw ?

Reinstall windows, you'll see driver conflicts left and right otherwise (in most cases)

Actually, you don't need to reinstall windows, I've changed my motherboard and didn't require fresh windows install. Just try it windows should work fine. I changed my ram and motherboard with no issues. But just to be safe backup everything important.
