M.2 NVME SSDs in a Raid 1 Setup

 Share

I have a friend that wants to setup their brand new computer with a raid setup for redundant backup (just in case), they also bought two 480GB NVME SSDs for their system and now wants to know if she can run them both in RAID 1 configuration or not.

For the Record, i've NEVER messed with RAID on anything so this is WAY outside my area of expertise, im just a troubleshooting tech XD

As far as I know, that should be possible unless the RAID controller doesn't like M.2 drives.

Raid 1 isn't considered a backup. If one drive gets a virus/malware etc so does the second...
