I don't like this whole "Steam Machine" its just SFF PC's with SteamOS, build your own. All though the specs aren't too appealling for the Scan System, I do like the case.

AMD Ryzen 5900x, Nvidia RTX 3080 (MSI Gaming X-trio), ASrock X570 Extreme4, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB @ 3200mhz CL16, Corsair MP600 1TB, Intel 660P 1TB, Corsair HX1000, Corsair 680x, Corsair H100i Platinum

You could build that for 2/3rds of the price with a choice of any operating system...first and most overpriced hopefully this doesn't follow on in england haha

Soo many games, not enough money to get any.

I don't think any of the Steam Machine hardware specs have been finalised fully yet which is why we have such crazy prices and range of pricing craziness. Perhaps when these come to market we will all be surprised, I just find it hard to believe Steam could be responsible for such a mess.

Well I just priced up a 13.3" laptop on their site and it costs £639 for something with the exact same specs and smaller size. So for £60 less you get a keyboard, monitor, WiFi and the ability to use it on the move.

Hopefully once Steam machines are more common companies wont try to extort the name to such a degree but for the first year or so I expect the "Steam Machine" label to cost a fortune.
