Recent GPU Driver Update Issue

Go to solution Solved by Boomwebsearch,

Try getting the driver installed again after having it properly uninstalled using something such as DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to ensure that it is removed correctly and then install the drivers again which are of the latest revision. If that is not right, then try using a different cable, and if that does not work then hardware failure of the GPU or damage is highly probable.

After recently updating my GTX 1060 6GB to the newest driver I started noticing these weird blue streaks across my screen when watching videos or playing video games. There is no issue when on desktop, but when it seems to be rendering video it has these weird blue artifacts/streaks idk what it is. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry, although I do not see/notice the blue streaks across the screen which you are mentioning. A screenshot will sometimes not be able to catch exactly what is being displayed on the display in the case of a problem, could you take an image with a camera of the monitor itself displaying an image with the aforementioned blue streaks? I think that this could be a sign of failure in the video card, a possible corrupt driver, or sometimes even the data connector going from the PC to the monitor for signal.

Hope this information post was helpful  ?,

Theyre not in the screencaps so I'd assume its the monitor/cable and not the driver

Crap, this happened right after I installed the new nvidia drivers for BFV. I tried reinstalling the drivers but same thing :|. Is there any software I could use to test the gpu?

Well uninstalling the driver completely through that removed the blue artifacts! Thank you!
