Google Project Stream opinions and questions

So I got into the Project Stream beta, and I am honestly quite impressed. I thought it would be a terrible mess but it works extremely well. I just wanted to get others opinions on it.

But its closed, right? Or invite only and anyone accepted can send more invites? Like back in early Gmail days.

It is closed, but I just registered last week and I got in within 48 hours. OP is correct it is crazy good (if not behind VPN). When i am behind PIA I get cutouts every couple of minutes, but I am dropped right back into where you were (even cut scenes).

Hey. So I’m a tester too. When I first played the game, the frame rate and quality where very low. I did a WiFi speed test in the browser, and the lowest I’ve ever gotten was 50 mpbs. Sometimes the result is as high as 125 mbps. Why is the game running so bad? It says I should have at least 25 mbps for a good preformance. 

 

BTW I’m playing over Ethernet.

I really don't know it may be your location because all of the computers I have tried it on have been fine.

can you check your internet speed on the computer you use it on? you can just search internet speed test, and you don't even have to go to a website to test it

What are the specs of the machine you are playing on?

I thought the specs shouldn't matter

cpu: core i7-6700k

gpu: gtx 970

plenty of ssd storage

I was just making sure it wasn't the most ancient machine... I really have no clue why you are having a bad experience.

Project stream wouldn’t use upload right? Because my upload speed is only around 15mbps.
