PLS HELP BROKEN DISPLAY

Hi guys, I have a lenovo yoga 720 13 inch, droped it screen cracked, took it out, put a replacement from ebay, doesn't work, put back the old cracked one, still not, the backlight doesn't light up, don't know what went wrong

 

please gimme suggestions, I'm completely desperate

Did you make sure to reconnect the display cable and tape it down? Did the replacement screen match the number of pins needed? Did you bend any pins?

Yes, part number is the same, plug everything the same way too

then you either messed up the ribbon cable or the inverter.

Sounds like the motherboards is also damaged. If you put a flashlight close to the new screen, can you see an image?

That's not what I mean; the lvds connector or the backlight circuit could be damaged.
