Yea, although I have to ask...

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

Yeah I don't really see a point in all that work. It would be better to get actually desktop parts, as laptop CPUs and some GPUs are limited in speed due to thermals, + you would need to invest into peripherals, and theres a whole lot that can go wrong.

That is very possible. Just screw the mobo and the rest to the desk and there you go. Id recommend getting a seperate panel and use the Display-out on the mobo to connect it up.

This all very much depends on what kind of laptop we are talking about

Its sure possible, just dis assemble laptop, be sure bot to break anything.

get yourself good heatsinks, mount and mod (may need a PSU)

use on board hdmi and usbs for all externals

Cut a hole the size and put how ever many fans you need. but for the IO of the computer you would either need to run a female to female usb cable or make a hole the size of the a USB and for the power cable.
