Where Would One Get Custom CPU Heatsinks?

So I had an idea to make a pico-itx sized computer, but  I wanted an extremely small heatsink. Something that would be almost phone-sized. I've done some Google searches, of course, to no avail. Heatsink would be for the AM4 socket, anybody have ideas on where I would get something like that?

Usually you will need to commission a machine shop or someone specialized in that field of work. If you plan on making something that small for any decently powered system it has a very high possibility of overheating.

You can get aluminum extrusions if it's for something that doesn't put out a lot of heat.

Thank you, it's been a growing interest of mine and I'm kinda new to that whole realm.

For a tiny sized AM4 cooler Noctua's would probably be best for the size. If your wanting to design and create an extremely high efficiency cooler using something like a vapor chamber or heatpipes would be a good start. The general basics that is constant will be the more surface area you have the higher the potential for heat transfer to the air.

Nothing against AMD but does not intel have the higher efficiency and would be better for a tiny build?

Can you share you design? You could CNC a copper base and connect it with heatpipes to the metal case. There is also carbon coated copper foil avaible for spreading the heat.

Well for the workload I plan on it being used for, Ryzen SoC gpu is miles better than Intel's integrated graphics. Also the Ryzen embedded V1605B has up to 25 watt TDP apparently.

Why not save yourself the headache of adapting.

Get a CORSAIR Hydro Series H55 Quiet Edition Water / Liquid CPU Cooler

Sell the Fan. Just use radiator for passive cooling.

Radiator too big? Sell it too. They make really really tiny ones
