I suppose it cuts it. You will be gaming in low though. It will do things but not very good. Passable.

Actually, to be honest you should have 2 memory sticks over the 1. It will then make use of dual channel memory.

Ryzen is better but seeing his budget is so low he can't even get Ryzen 3. His build is good value for what he is spending. He will revive what he pays for. Take that how you will.
