Sa1tama

Hi!

I was thinking of buying a 3D printer, but i have never owned one....

So the budget is 100USD, please tell me if it is possible to find any at this price point.

For any decent 3D printer you're looking at 200 and up with the Anet A8 or the Tevo Tarantula as great printers to start with.

I like hanging out and conversing about tech and stuff, commuting from forums to discord every so often.

I just bought a CTC anet a8 styel printer for 100€ works like a charm with heated bed, dont get me wrong it takes 2 years to calibrate properly but the prints are well worth the cost.

Have you ever thought of building your own 3d printer. I have a friend who is crazy about Arduinos and microcontrollers etc. He created his own 3d printer from some cheap parts from china. From what I remember, it came to be less than $100 USD. He used it to manufacture a fishing 'torpedo', a pretty cool one infact. But you know you have no warranty, but what you get for what you pay is quite good.

There is no way of making a workable machine for that budget in 2018... sorry. The lowest I would consider is the Tronxy X1 kit at about ~$150 once you buy a spool of filament to use on it.

I can personally say this is not the case, I can't post ebay links on here but this 100$ 3D printer I bought performs better than 300$+ 3d printers I have used with proper calibration and tuning.

Prints look great and it is well worth it just for parts tbh, In Spain these cost 92~$ shipped with UPS to your house free.
