How to change a mouse DPI(on the fly?)

Go to solution Solved by NelizMastr,

That's not technically changing DPI but rather mouse acceleration. Your best bet is either buying a mouse with real DPI adjustment or by changing mouse sensitivity in-game.

My HV-ms731 is a knockoff (i think. paid like 8 bucks on it)
(screenshot)
. caz the DPI button in this doesn't do anything. Is there anyway i could make the dumb button into any use.
okay even if its working how will i know it? Also DO people manually change DPI like this?(screenshot)

Nope, it not actually a mouse button action. You can try to save some money for a new mouse.
