DSR on a 720 p monitor

Hey all I was wondering if I used DSR on my 720 p monitor and pumped it up to 1080 p to play fortnite. First of all how do I do this? Kind of new to advanced tech.

my specs GTX 1080

i7 6800k

16gb Corsair vengeance ram

There's going to be a setting in, I think, Nvidia Control Panel that will allow you to turn it on.

Honestly, I'd just go all the way in and shoot for 1440p to 720p downscaling if you're at 1280x720.

I have another monitor, 4K just wondering if I can bump my 720 to 1080

As long as the setting is enabled, you should be able to.

I used and use VSR on my HD 7850 (VSR is the AMD equivalent to DSR) and I was able to push 1080p and 1440p on a TV that topped out at 1360x768, so I don't see any reason why your 1080 couldn't downscale 1080p to 720p.

I’m saying from 720 to 1080
