Rookie questions, Was it worth the Upgrade.

Hey,

SO Ive been bashing myself, that I didn't wait for the Ryzen 5 2600... and I bought the Ryzen 5 1600.

But what I was wondering, Is Does my GPU Max out before my CPU, (Im really not sure how to word this,)
What im trying to say is, Regardless if I had the 2600, Would I still get the same FPS because my GPU is "old"

My Build.

CPU Ryzen 5 1600 NEW

GPU 1050ti Mini OLD

RAM 16gb ( I think its G. Skill Flare X DDR4 2400) NEW

So yea.. Did I fuck up bad? Or nah.

Thanks.

Your gpu will be the bottleneck there. So yeah whether you'd waited for a 2600 or not you'd still be getting the same performance in most games.

PC - CPU Ryzen 5 1600 - GPU Power Color Radeon 5700XT- Motherboard Gigabyte GA-AB350 Gaming - RAM 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB - Storage 525GB Crucial MX300 SSD + 120GB Kingston SSD   PSU Corsair CX750M - Cooling Stock - Case White NZXT S340

Ah thanks man, Do you have any suggestions on what GPU I should upgrade to? That I could see a "noticeable" difference?
Not looking to spend like 800$   *Plus I'm Canadian so the $ is fucked.*

A 1060/rx580 would give a noticeable difference and be enough for 1080p, but the cost honestly isn't worth it.

A 1070 would be the most worthwhile upgrade from a 1050ti imo.
