New Headphones

I am new to audio but I have been slowly been introduced to high end audio. I finally want to jump in and get my first good set of headphones. Want best sound quality under $300 I can get (willing to stretch a little on budget). Based on my research I will probably need closed back due to them being used in a dorm so would like to tune that out. Other than that I am not sure. I have some BeatSoloWireless 2, yes I know they are overpriced, but looking for best I can get sound quality wise and anything better than those will be appreciated.

Mobile (on the go or just generally mobile most of the time) - MSR7 or K553

Stationary (just in one place most of the time) - DT770 (V-shaped, one of my personal favorites)
